Spend your Summer afternoons sitting on the Greenway with your furry best friend (your dog that is), looking out at the Boston Harbor, sharing Trillium beers with friends!

Pro tip: Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and put on your favorite drinking baseball cap!


1 Long Wharf, Boston, MA 02110

The Landing is one of the most popular outdoor watering holes in the city! From spring through late fall, thousands flock here for food, drinks and good times outdoors.

Pro tip: Don’t be afraid to ask for a dog bowl full of cold water for your thirsty pup! The bartenders are very dog friendly and will be happy to accommodate.

Once known as a region of neglected warehouses in Boston’s South End, the SoWa Art + Design District has experienced a dramatic renaissance, blossoming into a world-renowned arts, retail, and lifestyle destination.

Pro tip: Show up early (before 12pm) to skip the beverage and food lines. P.S. If you love dogs, you will leave happy! This is one of our most favorite dog friendly spots; peppered with friendly furry animals, unique pop up art shops, and an unlimited supply of food trucks!

Situated in Boston’s quaint Beacon Hill neighborhood, the Liberty Hotel will not disappoint you or your furry friends, especially in the Summer/ Fall!

Pro tip: Every Monday and Wednesday from May – October, join in their “yard” for Yappier Hour. Come to mix & mingle, dogs of all sizes welcome!

378 Centre St, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

More than an Irish pub, the Behan is a space where tradition meets modernity and conversations flow with quality beer. Whether you are an author, playwright, student or a beer connoisseur, come find your place in our community, and bring your dog along!

Pro tip: Brendan Behan is one of the only INDOOR bars in Boston dogs are allowed in!


1250 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA 02125

Was created by a team of Boston professionals with an unnatural love of craft beer, to meet production demands for the local craft beer industry while supporting the economic development of Dorchester.

Pro tip: Make sure to check out their monthly Puppy Yappy Hour! They often will provide free food for you to enjoy.


535 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02118 

The South End location of Five Horses has a 24-seat patio with the same hours and menu as the restaurant, and dogs are allowed to join. Some of the best food South End has to offer!

Pro tip: There is an additional Five Horses Tavern in Somerville, why not check them both out!? If you are nice enough the waiter will bring a bowl of ice water for your pup 🙂

Another South End restaurant and bar, very welcoming to dog owners – be prepared to run into other dog owners there!

Pro tip: South end buttery serves dog shaped cookies, and they’re delicious. You can also take your dog to Peters Park afterward to run around and burn off some energy!


524 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139

Terrific sushi bar in Cambridge that accommodates dogs with its 20 seat outdoor patio.

Pro tip: Make sure to check out their Jazz Schedule on the website, Thursday-Saturday evenings offer live Jazz music that will not disappoint.


59 E Springfield St Boston, MA  02118

Another South End staple that’s been around since 2008. Blunch serves unique and satisfying pressed sandwiches, fresh salads, and a variety of muffins, sweets, and cookies

Pro tip: While, like most Boston restaurants, dogs aren’t allowed inside, Blunch is prepared with a water bowl and treats by the door to keep your dog happy.

The Living Room offers American pub food on the Waterfront with dog-friendly patio seating. The waterfront area in Boston is a great place to bring dogs to walk along the water, The Living Room in particular being right next to Boston’s Christopher Columbus Park.

Pro tip: Make sure both you and your dog come hungry because they have a seperate menu for dogs! All canine meals come with a complimentary bowl of water!
